How long does it take?
Usually your book is finished within a few minutes. It is guaranteed to reach you within 24 hours. You do not have to wait around — we email you as soon as it is there.
What exactly do I get?
A 26-page picture book as a PDF file, by email. You can read it on a phone, a tablet or a computer. You may print it too — at home or at a copy shop, as often as you like. We do not send a printed, bound book yet.
What if it does not look like my grandchild?
The book is a gift, not a portrait. The drawn character will resemble your child, but it is a drawing and not a copy, so we cannot promise a particular likeness, and small variations are part of it — every book is drawn individually for your child. If you are not happy with the result, simply reply to the email — a person will look at it.
Is the photo safe with you?
We use the photo only for your book. It is stored outside the website, is not reachable at any public address, and we strip the capture data — including the location — the moment it is uploaded. We do not match it against anything and we pass it to nobody for advertising. You can ask us to delete it at any time; an email is enough. There is more in the privacy policy.
Can I give the book to someone else?
Yes. You receive a PDF file that you can pass on, print, or look at together. If you like, simply enter the recipient's email address when you order — then the book goes straight there.
Which languages is the book available in?
German, English and Dutch. The book is in the language you order in — you choose it at the bottom of the page.
Can I return the book?
No. Your book is made only for your child — once we begin making it, your right of withdrawal expires. You expressly agree to this when ordering. So there are no returns and no refunds. Even so: if anything about the book is not right, simply reply to the email — a person will look at it.
